Today I thought about BEING EVIL

            Lately I’ve found myself watching a lot of TV shows like Sparticus, Game of Thrones, and the Borgias. All of these shows are about Nobility and their dealings during times when Nobles could get away with just about anything. It got me to thinking.

            Who among us wouldn’t have treated others the way that nobility treated them? Who among us would deny ourselves the pleasures of brothels and drugs from across the land? Who really would stop themselves from living this life if they could?

            Since we don’t view people as property anymore I suppose it would be harder for me to understand the mind-set of owning someone but what would you do if you had a group of people that weren’t allowed to have their own free will? Would you be a good master and feed them well and try to gain their freedom for them? Or would you use them the way that that everyone in these shows seems to. Would they be your pawns or play things in your sick games?

            Hard to convince myself that I would be a good guy in that situation.  I’m willing to bet that just as some of those nobles did, I could justify my evil to myself. “For the greater good”
